La Roque 2019 - Mas del péréé
A new generation AOC Cahors! Always 100% Malbec, these vines have been cultivated biodynamically since 2006 on the rocky plateaus 10km west of Cahors. The estate's wines are all made from plot selections. La Roque is the name of a plot of vines on brown marl soils dating from the Miocene (5-20 million years ago). The 40-year-old vines give grapes with a natural vinification in oak casks, then in concrete vats, giving this wine a balanced structure, with mineral freshness and fresh tannins. In the mouth, we will find aromas of intense red fruits such as raspberry, cherry and redcurrant.
